About
General surgery is a surgical specialty that focuses on abdominal contents including esophagus,
stomach, small intestine, large intestine, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, appendix and bile ducts, and
often the thyroid gland ( depending on local referral patterns) . They also deal with diseases
involving the skin, breast, soft tissue, trauma, Peripheral artery disease and hernias and perform
endoscopic procedures such as gastroscopy and colonoscopy.

M.D or equivalent degrees for the applicants of Specialty Programs
Transcript of the records
Certificate of intership or certificate of practice
CV, Cover letter, and at least two reference letters
A minimum score of 533 TOEFL PBT, 72 TOEFL iBT, 5.5 IELTS
