Arak University of Medical Sciences, in order to train young and efficient human resources, has set up a rehabilitation faculty in Markazi province in order to provide services and improve the suffering of people who have suffered from some kind of mental and physical problems.
 
According to the report issued at the 12th session of the Council for the Development of Medical Sciences on 5/9/91, it was agreed to establish a rehabilitation faculty. The bachelor's degree in speech therapy and audiology has already started. Currently, the number of students studying in this college is as follows:
1- Audiology: 16 student
2- Occupational therapy: 68 student
3- Speech-language therapy : 42 student
 
 
This faculty is located in building No. 2 of Arak University of Medical Sciences located in Mostafa Khomeini town of Golestan alley.
