Executive Instruction of non-Iranian students who have changed their citizenship during their studies
Hereby, the "Executive Instruction of non-Iranian students who have changed their citizenship during their studies" approved by the eighty-first session of the High Council for Planning of Medical Sciences
Hereby, the "Executive Instruction of non-Iranian students who have changed their citizenship during their studies" approved by the eighty-first session of the High Council for Planning of Medical Sciences, dated 13th January 2022 , is announced as follows:
- Non-Iranian tuition-paying students who enter the university through the national entrance examination, after obtaining Iranian citizenship, are subject to free education (exempt from paying tuition). The admission quota for these people will be based on where they received their diploma / pre-university at the time of entering the university.
- Non-Iranian scholarship students are accepted without participating in the national exam due to their scholarship points at the university. After changing their Iranian citizenship, they are required to complete their studies by paying tuition fees like the students of the International Campus.
- Non-Iranian students who have been accepted as international students by universities freely, without participating in the national entrance exam and by paying tuition fees, after obtaining Iranian citizenship, are required to complete their studies by paying tuition fees as international campus students.
- Graduates who change their citizenship after graduation and before receiving the documents and diplomas, will be required to follow the obligations of the manpower plan similar to Iranian graduates and in accordance with the relevant criteria, and given that students in paragraphs 1 and The above-mentioned 3 have paid tuition for the entire duration of the study period, are not subject to free education obligations, and only the students of the above-mentioned paragraph 2 (scholarships) are subject to the obligation of free education in proportion to the length of the study period.
