According to WebDa Markazi report, Dr. Pariya Bahrami added that currently, only Tafresh city has succeeded in completing the desired pad, and this has not happened in other cities, and rescue helicopter has difficulty in landing and delivering the patient to the ground ambulance.
He said that currently, in these cities, with a lot of time-consuming consultations, rescue helicopters are deployed on 100-meter grasslands or large environments where no building around the helicopter will prevent the helicopter from landing or taking off.
Dr. Bahrami, while thanking Arak Airport and Army of the Islamic Republic, especially the Air Force, for providing a helicopter and changing it from a military to rescue nature, said" With opening of the Air Emergency Base and delivery of "Medicopter"(rescue and medical helicopter) aircraft, while reducing the time to deal with accidents, quality of services provided by emergency services will also increase."
Head of pre-hospital emergency and accident management of Arak University of Medical Sciences further noted" Currently, air emergency services are open from sunrise to sunset, and our colleagues perform an average of eight missions per month, which naturally decreases during colder seasons of the year due to weather conditions.
Dr. Bahrami emphasized that the province's air emergency has been working since September 2019, and during this time it has been able to provide good services to its compatriots and play a great role in donating lives and lives of the injured and patients.
